Shopping!

Went around parra today because uni is coming. Bought these things:

From the Cosmocostmetics store (256 Church st, Parramatta) I got 2 revlon Super luster lip glosses (in Shine City and Feelin' Flirty) for $15, Lash Discovery mascara for $2 and Revlon Show stopper copper eyeshadow for 6.95. Oh how i love parra and its cheap cosmetics.

From Morning glory i got 2 Cleaning pags for 2.95 each (they finally sell it individually) and a head massage stick for $3.50. Cheap! But they didnt have the fake lash applicator that i wanted.

Got a perfume for James and the Revlon diamond lust in pillow talk pink came free.

I tried out the eye shadow and its pretty good. I used the darkest brown for my lower lash line the middle copper on top of the eyeliner and the lightest shade for a base. For mascara I'm wearing my Rimmel Glam eyes.

Still on the hunt for a good eyeliner...

And i used the Revlon Diamond lust as a blush. I'm wearing Revlon Feelin' Flirty gloss.

Now i love parra more because it has affordable cosmetics and my favorite hair stylist.

I love Ivan (my hair stylist)

Got a new hair cut today ^^ and realised i love my hair dresser more. I have been faithful with Ivan for about 3 yrs now (well i cheated on him once, but thats when i really needed a cut and i was in china).

He doesn't talk much and does his job really well. I personally hate hair dressers who talk and ask you useless/private questions. And i received a hair wash from him today too, and his hands are like magic (or i just love hair wash in salons). He shampooed my hair twice i think and massaged the conditioner really well. You can tell he was not slaking off when he washed my hair.

Then came the hair drying part, oh how it felt good. Ivan and this other stylist was blowing my hair at the same time. The feeling of being in a male sandwich is soo empowering. The drying part took the longest cause i has heaps of hair, so the pleasure was orgasmic.

After is the cutting part. He told me what he was going to do to my hair and started his cutting. He asked me if i wanted to read a magazine, and i declined. I love to watch him cut my hair because to me it was like master chief preparing a dish (pure enjoyment). He didnt cut much off because he knows how i like it. And after the cut i felt so beautiful and glamorous. The lighting in the Salon was perfect, it was yellow and bright so your face look like its glowing full of radiance.

And of cause this is the end result.

I love Ivan because i have never seen him use the razor combs to thin hair, and he doesn't cut alot off and yet there is still a significant difference. When is time for paying there is no pressure, he lead you to the counter and accepted your money with both hands followed by a "thank you". Everything feels so calm and i think that's how retail should be like. I'm the type of consumer who dont like to be interrupted when I'm browsing and i like my personal space and privacy. I think its too much to ask, but yet Ivan satisfy all of them.

If ur not happy with ur hair dresser, you should try Ivan. The address is up the top (and no, i'm not being paid to do this). He is the best hair stylist in my opinion.

Rainy and gloomy

I start uni next week, i'm kinda looking forward to it. I searched up the cost of my text books for my semester and i was shocked O.o, i think i gotta spend $700 this semester...

Well today is James' B'day, but i dont know what to do. He doesn't like celebrating b'days and the weather is horrible today. We might do something tomorrow if the weather is more forgiving.

YY spent the whole morning sleeping on her pillow (btw i only turned the light on to take the pic) I think she is also feeling the sleepiness of this weather.

Here is my bed toys, yes i know I'm a big baby. I recently got the Hello kitty from a close friend. We named it naked kitty.

The right eye looks evil here.

Making Devils food with a great firend.

Yesterday Luu and I decided to do a master chef cook day. We decided to make a Gateau Opera with strawberries. This is the first time i actually made a cake. I was really surprised how much butter, sugar, coffee, egg went into this lil cake. I dont think i can eat sweets again.

I think last night i had an sugar overload because my stomach wasn't feeling so pleasant, and my stomach woke me up at 5am...

The process of making the cake was heaps fun and i thank Luu for every bit of it. Love u.

She also has a Hello Kitty instant cam, we took some pics on it ^^ its really cute. And oh she gave me one of her Build a Bear Hello kitties so we can be twins (soo sweet).

And last night James and i went to a thai place called Yum Sab in Fairfield. The food was really good and cheap too.

Egg white facial

I have been using the egg white facial for 2 weeks now and is becoming a weekly routine. It whitens, cleans, reduces oils, minimizes pore size and many more... There are many articles online about the benefits for egg whites, this is just one of them.
http://mybeautyreviews.wordpress.com/2007/08/10/egg-white-mask/

Before applying it to the face beat it with a chop stick until there are bubbles, as shown above (which shouldn't take that long). Apply a good 2-3 layers on the face. Wait for about 10-15 mins (until is fully dry and still, no longer then 15mins). Wash off with warm water then tone and moisturize. As recommended most masks works best after a good shower where the face is cleansed and pores are opened.
As can see in the pic, i have a big nasty pimply on my forehead and its been there for months. And i dont know how to get rid of it cause it wont budge. It hurts to touch. Can anyone recommend a good product or remedy to eliminate it. Thanks.

Wooo 2 blogs in one day, I'm on fire.

Glowing fresh face

Soo happy we have a cosmetic store in parra that sells American brand cosmetics and also at really good prices. They sell normal drug store products too at unbelievable prices. I got the rimmel Glam'eyes and the Jordana's pressed powder there for about $11. *ohh iam jumping for joy*.

The lady in the store say a pinkish pressed power will brighten your complexion, so i gave it a try *i mean its only $5.95*. Well i loved it, it doesn't give a lot of coverage *but who needs it when u have healthy skin* it gives a glow to your face. Its great for those who have naturally great skin, but needs a pick-me-up every now and then.

For my Rimmel Glam'eyes. I like it too. I only used it today for about a few hours. Its nothing dramatic. After about 6hrs it only smudged a tiny bit, nothing noticeable and it retained my curls perfect. I say this is better then Estee Larder's projectionist mascara which gave my raccoon eyes. (plz note, i did not apply mascara on my bottom lashes) I watched alot of good feedback for this mascara and now i' m falling in love too.
